Not all of us. It sounds like a made up story by some out of town Vegas hater. Some reporter who got offended on the strip and doesn't want us to have a team. Is there any actual proof that it was worse than any other Saturday night in Vegas?

Is this sarcasm? Because if not I have no idea what it means.

I'm more interested in Major League Baseball. I have no doubt that the NBA will eventually place a team here. More than likely, it will be a team with poor attendance and/or an untenable stadium situation rather than further expansion.

One team that would be perfect to move here is the Memphis Grizzlies. I'm not sure how they are doing financially there in Memphis but they are in the Western Conference and it would make sense for them to actually move closer to the west coast. They use to be the Vancouver Grizzlies and move to Memphis later. We do have a WNBA team that moved from San Antonio.

You're joking, right?

Airics and I are pretty damn far from being out-of- towners.

They were arrogant, non-tippers, who went around saying things like "Do you know who I Am?" I got news for you, princess, this is Vegas, not LA and we don't give a fig who you are.

So you are saying multi-millionaire NBA all stars are non-tippers? Maybe you are right but it sounds like hearsay, and I find it hard to believe. Aren't they like rap stars, who tip big at the strip clubs? I seem to remember some story about players cruising the Strip before the game and being surprised they were stuck in traffic. Even if they are clueless and cheap, I still want a team.

Vegas has always been a basketball town first and foremost, and we are long overdue for an NBA team. So what team needs a new arena? Because that is who is likely to move here.

^Ok, that makes more sense. Lol. But there are already plenty of NBA fans in Vegas. Having a team is not going to make the city worse. We need somebody else to route for than the Rebels who seem to be doomed to mediocrity.

Summer league is much larger now than it used to be, but it isnt enough to push the needle to "crazy fans never have an nba team". Its a tournament that lasts a week. Most dont even know when theyre in town.

hard to resist when I can sell my house here, pay off the mortgage, and be free and clear with no mortgage back there...
plus I am so tired of the hour drive to work on the strip

doc says I need to slow down, there's nothing else they can do
