I finally had an interview for Las Vegas. If I get the job I will be working near the airport. I looked at two apartments. The one I liked was the Element. This is at least 20 minutes from work. I will make a trip back to Las Vegas before settling if I receive a job offer. I am looking for suggestions Bella Vida is very close to the Element. My budget is 1200 per month.

The Belle Vida apts sure have a lot of upfront fee's before you even pay your rent. Especially if you have pets. Pet rent is so stupid. They should charge kid rent. The Element floor plans look nice. Nice layouts and a good patio.
If you are working near the airport, you may want to consider apts in Henderson/Green valley. With the clogged traffic in the Lakes and Summerlin area, you will find you spend more time getting to work than you need to. There are plenty of great apts all over, but living closer to work will save you more time, gas and aggravation.

I would look into a condo rental. Apartments in Vegas are getting crazy inflated on the rents these days. Just be ready to act if you like the place. Rental turnover is super fast right now in the valley.

Really I agree with PinkString and would look into Green Valley or something in/or around Seven Hills. JMHO the less time you spend driving the more you will enjoy liviing here. Maybe start with a 6 month lease and then you will have time to figure out where you would actually want to settle and if you will likely be staying at that job long term. It's really pretty difficult to make a truly informed decision from afar.

There are some very nice newer apartments in Henderson off of Horizon Ridge Parkway & Stephanie St. It's a great location and a short drive to the airport.

I keep reading this. We live in Sun City Summerlin and I have yet to find any of these "clogged" streets. Where are they?

Agree, plus anyone going to Summerlin from the Airport would take the 215.

I agree.. im up at Aliante and don't see that either, unless they are referring to the construction at the spaghetti bowl, but you can go back routes easily
