I couldn’t find an existing thread on this but there’s a road in Henderson that seems normal but out of the blue you make a left turn and you see oncoming traffic right in front of you...IT IS FRIGHTENING! I don’t remember what street it was but i think it could be the Horizon Drive DDI. I have driven on it twice and each time it caught me off guard and I almost panicked. Is this the Horizon Drive DDI or something else?

We live a little south of there in Palm Canyon and use that intersection every day usually to go north on the 515. It was a little confusing at first but the design of it moves traffic along and keeps cars from getting backed up. Also, getting off the 515 South at Horizon Drive the lights are timed so you can make a left turn right on to Horizon Ridge Parkway.

That is a busy intersection and even at rush hour you never have to wait long to get through there.

The first time I flew into Dublin for a golf trip we landed at 8 am, right in the middle of rush hour. I got into a RH drive car for the first time and had to drive on the left all the way from the airport through the city to our hotel. I did get used to it eventually but that was a terrifying experience. My wife almost had a coronary.

The guy at the Four Seasons just laughed when we pulled up and knew immediately that we were Americans. LOL

That’s too much to take in all at once. I couldn’t imagine having to do a right turn into oncoming traffic while also sitting on the right side of the car!

The same. We had to drive an hour south to our first B&B. Took a wrong turn and were on our way to Scotland. Too many "I don't see what the GPS is saying I should see" and we stopped and figured it out.

Also plenty of calls from the navigator.

"Ditch!"
"Bush!"
"Wall!"
"People! People! People!"

Took about a day to figure out some things.

I drove in Japan many years. I made a freebie mistake once, right after I got my license, on my first left turn off of the installation into civilian traffic, heading right into a bunch of cars facing me - I just calmly continued the turn over to the left hand side.
