How about getting a cargo bicycle so you don't have to use the bus?

There are about 18 Smith Super Markets in the Las Vegas area. To which do you refer?

The bus system in Las Vegas is really quite good. Be sure you get the most recent RTC book of schedules, routes and times to eliminate waiting times for buses. You can also get that info online.

Waiting for a bus in summer heat? Ever notice those running around in the summer with their windows rolled down? Yup! Not everyone can afford to get their A/C repaired. I never had A/C in my car for 22 years in Las Vegas or my 3 years in Phoenix, and it was "cooler" waiting at a covered bus stop than sitting in my car for one of those long stop lights, which Las Vegas is famous for.

And how often does the temp reach 115 in Las Vegas? Maybe once or twice a year?

Are any of them inaccessible by bus?

Lots of them are. Look up the Smith's stores on google maps. If you zoom in enough you will be able to see bus stops marked on the maps. The closest Smith's to me is at Sandhill and Flamingo and there is a bus stop right there.

Smith's has several locations on/near bus stops. Not sure if you are going there for groceries or to work, but they also offer home delivery of groceries, through instacart.com.
