Plenty of cheap clothing options, Ross is on almost every corner it seems, and there's TJ Maxx, etc. North and South premium outlets, though outlet shopping is hit or miss. I find much better deals at Ross. Also plenty of thrift stores if that's your thing.

1. Property taxes are low
2. No state income tax
3. Electricity rates are low(except summer months)
4. Wages are low for service workers

There is almost always somewhere with the same price or cheaper, so depends on where you are coming from or comparing to.

Currently red light cameras are prohibited in NV. Lawmakers are attempting to get that changed next year, however.

Improbable. One of those Nevada things...

Though I would like to see some special law to run down the idiots in rice burners who play this game of cutting through traffic at 20 mph above the traffic speed level.

Maybe hang a big hammer above the freeway and whack them when detected? Or an auto paint gun that whacks the car with a stroke of pink?

Maybe that's why idiots run red lights all the time.

We have too many morons behind the wheel.

This town is notorious for red light runners. Other day I witnessed a car run through one when it had changed to red for a full 3 seconds. My friend was even laughing about how they run red lights all the time and I told them they're a complete idiot.

I have a background in trauma and I have seen up close the terrible effects from those involved in motor vehicle accidents.

Las Vegas has some of the best discount shopping in the country. Those $125 New Balance sneakers I’m wearing? They cost me less than $20.

Gym memberships vary. LVAC is very reasonable considering the indoor pool and indoor running track. Their monthly fee is less than my company’s reimbursement.

There ARE other factors to consider, so do your research.

I came from the most happy red light ticket program in America...long island. It increased rear end collisions 20x as people now literally slam brakes at yellow lights not to get a $150 ticket. $75 fine $75 admin fees. What a watchdog group found out is signals that had cameras changed their yellows to 2 seconds from 3 seconds, the time of signals that didn't have cameras. Shows they absolutely do not care about safety, only dollars. It's been proven to be far far more dangerous to have them.

Red light cams don't decrease, but increase traffic accidents. It creates more uncertainty and another layer of split second choices to make.
