Hello everyone,

I will be in Las Vegas in July. It's my first trip to Vegas. I'm so excited. I will gamble, but not as much as my friends. I want to have a good time. What are your suggestions?

Thank you.

I love hitting the pool during the day. It can be anything from quiet and relaxing pool, lazy river, wild pool party, "euro" pool, etc.... Depends on what works for you. Just remember to HYDRATE as it will be HOT!

At night you can see a different show or concert each night.

A TON of great restaurant options depending on what you like.

Red Rock Canyon is awesome for hiking but get there early when it's only 90 degrees!

Have fun!

Nuclear Testing Museum, Mob Museum, Neon Museum and Nevada State Museum. And go see Boulder Dam just outside of town.

And go see a show on the Strip.

A lot depends on what you want to do, how you're coordinating with your friends, and what resources you have available (meaning will you have a car.)

If you have a car, there are a lot of outdoorsy stiff to do around Vegas if you have a car.

Depending on which Hotel you are at you might want to go to another nicer Hotel pool. Some hotels let you pay to enter during week days for a fee MGM Grand for example. Some Hotels on the Strip have pool parties and some have day clubs. Check Las Vegas Advisor in-line for further info. Maybe do zip line at Bootleg Canyon. If you like the outdoors consider renting a bike and riding Rivers Mountain Loop a 34 mile paved bike path. Do in the morning too hot during mid day.

The Bellagio lobby always has gorgeous floral displays and they change with the seasons. Don't miss them and then watch the fountains dance : ) No cost for either.

Go to the Grand Canyon, they have bus & helicopter tours. If you have never been, it is a great day trip, they will pick you up at your hotel.
