going to check this out:

The Clark County Wetlands Park is hosting the National Audubon Society 2018 Photography Awards Winners Traveling Exhibit for the month of July. The photography display, which celebrates the splendor of many bird species protected under the 100-year-old Migratory Bird Treaty Act (MBTA), will be on display in the Nature Center Exhibit Hall through the end of July, with a reception on Saturday, July 13 at 1 p.m. in the Exhibit Hall. Light refreshments will be served at the event, which also features a free raffle drawing.

The traveling photography exhibit, brought to Clark County Wetlands Park courtesy of the Red Rock Audubon Society, features 12 stunning photographs that won awards in the organization’s 2018 Audubon Photography Awards Show based on technical quality, originality and artistic merit. The winning photographs were selected from more than 8,000 entries submitted by amateur, professional and youth photographers from all 50 states, Washington D.C. and 10 Canadian provinces.

The photographs can be viewed in the Clark County Wetlands Park Nature Center Exhibit Hall daily from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. through July 31. There is no admission fee.

I saw that recently on their FB page. Also saw they have beavers there. I didn't know that. I started following there page and several others like the outdoor parks and naturalist society, natural museums, etc to begin learning more about the native plants and wildlife of the area. There's this whole other side of Las Vegas that doesn't get as much attention.

Thanks for sharing!
