You are allowed to camp on federal BLM land for free. This land surrounds the Las Vegas Valley and you are allowed to stay on site for up to 14 days. At that point you need to move your "site". There's nothing that says you can't sleep in your car instead of setting up a camp site.

Other option is any Walmart parking lot as they seem to be ok with you using their lots overnight. Casino parking lot security guards will kick you out if they see you sleeping.

Do you have a job lined up in Vegas? How long do you think on living in a car and why do you not have a suitable place available before moving to Vegas? You may be able to get away with living in your car out in the desert.

Well I am hoping to be there around September but I am on disability and if I drive there not sure if I would have enough for a place till I would get the next check in October I am still looking for a place to go when I get there but seems all the rooms/shares are for females preferred instead of males but I will still be looking I have lived in Vegas off and on for about 6 years so I am familiar about the different areas

It's mighty hot here if you're parked in the sun. Could be a risk to your health and safety. Be safe and good luck.

This is a BAD plan. If you're living paycheck to paycheck, you have no cushion... a requirement for moving to a new place. Also, sleeping in your car will be so uncomfortable, you'll immediately regret it after the 1st night.

This is a stupid idea. Save up until you can move properly (ie into some sort of residence/apartment.) Search for roommate situations if necessary.

Best bet would be to wait to move here until you have a nice cash cushion to tide you over til you get a job. Trying to move to the desert and living in your car is not a good idea. Don't do it. If you feel you must, for whatever reasons, at least have a big enough vehicle to be comfortable in and go to an RV park. This way you have electric hookups so you can be more comfortable, have a mini-fridge in your vehicle, and a fan to keep cool. Plus use the bathroom facilities to keep clean, etc.

Look up bikeking19 on youtube.com, he's a poker player in Vegas that chooses to live in his car.

Gene pool cleansing comes in many forms.
