I'm trying to obtain a seasonal ID for the few months we spend in Vegas every year. I understand and meet all the requirements to obtain one for myself.

Anyone here have any experience obtaining an ID for their spouse, who does not have any documentation that they have residence in Nevada? All the bills, taxes, deed are in my name but my spouse (of 20+ years) is always with me when it comes to travelling.

I've contacted the DMV and waiting their reply. One person mentioned filling out Form DMV-005 and then the spouse can piggyback on my bills/proof of residency but wanted first hand experience from someone that has successfully got one for their spouse and the steps they took. DMV-005 doesn't really say It waives any requirements to show proof of residency.

Thanks in advance!

Here are some discounts. They all are very particular in actually showing the ID they do check.

If you enjoy White Castle, they offer a 10% locals discount (at least the Casino Royale location does). It isn't posted anywhere, and I don't recall how I first found out about it, but it works every time. You do have to show local ID.

They don’t make it easy to get seasonal resident ID. We came in to Nevada DOL after waiting in line with all our paperwork only to be told our Washington Driver’s Licenses were not “real ID”. Washington doesn’t comply with federal real ID requirements as they hand out drivers Licenses pretty much to anyone. Soon Washington Drivers Licenses won’t be acceptable when going thru TSA. We had to come back with our Visas which they accepted and gave us our Seasonal Resident ID.
