Ours is a part of our monthly house payments. The bank figures it out for us.

Coming from a high tax state where we paid over $6500/year for smaller house, the property taxes here seem like nothing. Here we pay less than a 1/4th of that amount and the house is newer and bigger.

I hear you. Compared to old home on Eastern Long Island, what I use to pay per month is almost what I pay annually now. My LI taxes were 15K a year.

Thanks for the reminder.

Our taxes in Reno are 700/year. Super cheap.

The housing crash of 2008-2012 obliterated property taxes in Clark County. It will take many years for taxes to be back where it was in 2007 with the 3% cap.

If you want high tax, just come to NJ. Even with a market crashed and house ranked, the property tax still increase.

I am sending it off today, thanks! Is there any way to pay in just one bulk payment? I absolutely love Nevada and almost everything they do is better than back where I came, but in OR you had a 3% discount for paying all at once. I’d settle for just being able to write one large check rather than 4 quarterly payments which is just really annoying to remember that.

So do precisely that.

How does your car registration here compared to the states you came from?
