There is no evidence so far that Sisolak had anything to do with the order of the drugs by the prison authorities. They likely qualify as hospitals so the ban does not apply to them.

This smells of more garbage from the right wing press and sources.

Does anyone know if he rescinded the ban like the Michigan governor did?

Please no personal attacks, hate for possible cures, hoarding explanation, comments about fish tank cleaner, orange is bad, right wing accusations or personal belief if the treatment works or not.

I just want to know if someone can get the Rx for COVID or do they still have to be admitted to a hospital? I have a family member who is older and tends to get pneumonia easily so want to be prepared about the options...

Personally, I think my immediate family may have had COVID already since we all got the 'flu' twice this year to varying degrees..I wish we had an antibody test to know so we could move on and since I am a prolific blood donor, maybe having antibodies could be a good thing for someone....

The order Sisolak issued doesn't stop doctors from prescribing the drug to someone who is Ill. It prevents subscription as a prophylactic. Treatments longer than 30 days have an additional justification requirement.

And get ready to mark this date down on your calendars, but for once LVMensch and I are in agreement. Gateway Pundit isn't exactly a reliable and unbiased source.

I understood that only in a hospital setting could you get a prescription.

Did the governor rescind that and now a doctor can prescribe in an out-patient setting? Does anyone know?

Personally, I think all front-line medical personnel should be given this Rx for free if they want to take it.

I dunno. I am not a lawyer, but I read the order posted on the governor's website and I don't see any such restriction. It says there has to be a positive diagnosis. That kinda goes without saying because any reputable doctor isn't going to give you a prescription for this when you haven't been diagnosed.

There seems to be a lot of misinformation out there surrounding this order.

I've read some hearsay on another board that there is a lack of supply and some scrips are being denied but that's neither here nor there imho.

Be sure to thank him when you vote next time, that is all we ask in return. 1270 cases in Clark County, 29 deceased? Math much? Entire economic engine of NV shut down. How is your final paycheck doing?

Do you think what is happening in Nevada is unique?

Spoiler Alert: It's not.

Only 1270 cases and 29 deaths because it's been shut down.

The whole country and world is grinding to a halt.

Watching Louisiana, Florida, Michigan deaths blow up and the early shutdown in NV seems to have been the right call.
