The Charleston one is the first location we went to and it was packed then. Not surprised the Strip location was closed since nobody is going to the Strip except to take pictures of it while empty.

We went to Frijoles & Frescas yesterday in an area I've never been to before and it was busy for Cinco de Mayo. I had to wait 45 minutes for tacos. But I got my tacos.

You know who needs a taco truck. Komex needs a taco truck. Their Korean Mexican fushion tacos are the bomb.

Check on their website indicates that they are taking internet offers at Losee and Charleston sites. They do not answer the phone at the Strip site.

So it may well be they have closed the strip location but are operating at the other two.

The losee location might say they're open, but every time I have been by the doors are locked and no one is inside.

I am absolutely dying for some pastor.

Called them. They say they are open with no interior dining

Ricardo's announced today that they'll be closing on May 15th instead of May 18th. Farewell old chums.

When you go out to stores, have you been paying attention to how much is OUT of stock?
Not just the stuff you are looking for, but look for everything that is actually out and do a good think about why.

I'm in town. $1.29 for those huge bundles of fried tastiness can't be beat.
I'm not sure I'll continue that when I move to Vegas in July.

Any more Mexican restaurant suggestions...feel free to forward my way.

Roberto's Chicken Tacos?? well the price is right, but I dunno. Their shrimp burrito is OK though.

However- for the REAL DEAL:

Los Molcajetes:

Los Molcajetes LV

I don't really care about the Molcajetes themselves, (they do look pretty good) but I can tell you without doubt that the Caldo de Pollo is among the best of the best.

You're welcome. Hope they open soon.

What? Los Molcajetes?

They're open now; today is Sunday-

"Abierto todos los dios de 9AM a 12 PM"

Be advised: This isn't "Roberto's" You will have to ask for the English menu, and peeps will wonder what the
gabacho is doing there! (Fear not; good vibes, from the cervazas).

All good, as is the EXCELLENT food.
