When I left Sinless City over 2 years ago there was talk of extending the Monorail to Mandalay Bay, close to the Stadium. Did that ever happen? It wouldn't surprise me in he least if it didn't happen!

I personally don't believe that will happen now, since the LVCVA bought the monorail to acquire the rights to do other transit options in the tourist corridor. Here's the latest:

Thanks for that upload, let's hope that Uber/Lyft, Taxi Unions don't raise a big stink about it.

I know you're never suppose to say never, but I think the tide has changed. If the convention center loop test works this will definitely go forward.

Another article going into a little more detail. A concern I have that is mentioned in this article, is that the Boring Co will build out the system at their cost. But they will control all the revenue from the farebox and advertising. One, will they charge too much? Two, this will kill the RTC Deuce revenue. Hopefully they have thought of this.

The list of stops Musk says he'll build is impressive. How on earth is he going to fund this work, it could cost billions once all the stops and stations are built.

Very impressive and ambitious plans. Would be welcome if even only 50% of that plan got completed. The proposed 2021 completion date for the Stadium route seems a bit optimistic, though.

The stretch from the airport to the Convention Center would be my main target for completion; between those two points is a long list of major hotels that I'd expect to generate the most ridership and revenue.

Is it worth extending north of Sahara Ave?

It really is bizarre, its like he's building the subway system the city could never afford but always wanted, but replacing it with self-driving cars.

He thus makes money either way.
