Any recommendations for a good doctor? Google Maps keeps showing me clinics with below a 4 star rating. Kinda scary. Trying to get my younger brother a checkup. He uses silversummit healthplan.

Internal Medicine Specialists on 201 N. Buffalo has several good doctors. They probably take your health plan but you would have to check before making an appt.

I asked my dentist for a recommendation and found a good one close to my home. I think it's important to have all of your medical providers close to where you live. You don't want to drive 30 minutes or more to go to your doctor, dentist etc (at least I don't). I can walk to my doctor's and dentist's offices and find that very appealing.

I'll bet you're willing to travel for a good steak - am I wrong?

It's actually completely the opposite. You'll definitely want someone relatively nearby who can actually take care of you when you're sick but you always travel for good healthcare (but NOT out of state). Personally, I'm willing to drive anywhere in the valley for a good doctor and I wouldn't even think twice about it.
