This is a large mall that used to house a Kmart and a Smiths supermarket and other smaller businesses. The place has been somewhat derelict for years, with businesses closing down and Covid. But there are now signs of life which is wonderful. A new furniture store called Boulevard Home has opened where the Kmart was. There are many fast food places, a Dollar Tree, and gyms and nail places in the complex. The area has recently been developed with new homes in the Craig Road and Jones area along Rancho. My question is whether anyone knows if a new supermarket is planned for this mall? It would certainly be supported and used. The only store we have is the Walmart Neighborhood store on Jones, and an Albertsons on the west side of the 95, over a mile away. I’ve tried to find out more via contacting various grocery chains, local political reps and the city planning Dept but can’t get information. So, am hoping someone out there has any news or suggestions? I’m t would be ideal for local residents, is on several bus lines, and walkable for many, and would bring jobs. I live in hope that there exists a grocer who could serve this area which is pretty much a desert for groceries now, but which has been growing quickly to create demand. Any news is appreciated. Thanks!

Realtors sometimes know what's going on or what's planned.

There is a lot of new investment flooding into that area so I wouldn’t be surprised to see that space filled soon.

I used to live in Providence and know that area fairly well, but haven't been up there for a while, I live in 89052 now. Research shows there is an Alberstson's and a Smith's not far from that intersection, same as where I am. There is a Trader Joe's and a Whole Foods too. Not many other options in Vegas, it's not a friendly place for grocery shopping without a car. Uber or Lyft is your best bet if you don't have a car. I find Smith's to have the best prices.
