The condo I bought has nice, large tile
Floors. Was built in 2006 but previous
Owner let large stains accumulate in grout,
If not tile.
Was checking online & really think it needs
Clean & sealant.
Assume dust, grime & uncleaned stains
For 7 years.

I live in town. & could not come to spot check
W/different cleansers.

Lots of flooring people online. Any recommendations?
DM me if you do - 860 sqft

Will also need it painted. One wall is mirrors.
Living rm, bedrm, kitchen/dining area.
Suggestions welcome.

Thanks alot

Home Depot has excellent grount cleaner and special brushes to do it with. They also have sealer. Our tile looked great after we did it.

Yes, they need steam cleaning & sealing. Since it is empty
Now & I am long distance, I think hiring someone is better.
I don't think my joints & bones would tolerate it anyway!

The grout is white & pretty bad
Fortunately the under flooring is intact.

The key will then be to keep it that way !

FWIW, I've used all different kinds of cleaners on the (previously unsealed) grout in my travertine floors, including specialty tile cleaning products from Home Depot, and Aqua Mix products bought from Dal Tile. I've also had the grout professionally cleaned.

Nothing worked as well as a simple paste made from Oxy Clean. After the grout was clean I sealed it, and now I never have problems with dirty grout.
