Whatch'all think? I give it six months or less. It's the desert. If I'm not mistaken, the reason the LV Ski & Snoboard Park closes early in the Spring is nobody wants to go there after it gets hot in the valley. And...$30.00 for 30 minutes with one drink? And having to wear rented coats that might give you cooties, or worse? Will they get repeat customers?

I agree. About one year, I'd be real surprised if it lasted longer.

First of all, it's too expensive. $30.00 admission for a 1/2 hour in this place?

Then you have to pay to rent the jacket and only one drink for free?

I say a year tops, ridiculous idea in my opinion.

A short lived novelty...

Another case of non-Vegans knowing what's best for Vegas. I hope they did a feasibility study, but it sounds like someone got a wild idea and without checking it out spent a small fortune building it. Remember Main Street Station? The Henderson Downs? The Rampart Casino? Bonanza Hotel? Horse drawn carriages on the Strip in 110º heat competing with the militant Teamsters' Union? I'm downsizing my estimate to four months.

Maybe it will fly...if the cocktail waitresses DON'T wear jackets. I would imagine much glare from (er, I mean AT) the high beams!

Yeah, I bet it gets real nippy.

If you can't stay in there for more than 30 minutes, how about the employees? Do they have a change of shift every 30 minutes too?

Jeez. You won't be able to tip anything but paper money. Coins would stick to your hands. By the way, don't have any coins in your pocket either. The "Boys" won't like that.

So what is "henderson Downs" and why is Main Street Station owned by Boyd and not the other Stations?
