Is less than a month to the General Election. Of course gas prices are lower. And they are even lower in the big important swing states (Ohio) compared to states that don't have as many electoral votes.

I am not sure why the price of gas makes me more likely to vote, perhaps so I can afford to drive to the polling place, but this happened last time around too.

3 more months to go.

I hope gas prices will be under $2.00 by the time I move out there.

The gas station at Washington/Buffalo (I think it's a Rebel station) had gas for $2.99 a gallon yesterday when I was up that way....

It will be awhile before it gets under $2 a gallon here in Las Vegas. If the recession keeps up, the prices will keep dropping. But more people will lose jobs and homes, etc so it really won't balance out too well.

Question Centennial Walmart Confrontation

I usually don't go to Walmart, but needed a few groceries in a hurry. On my way to check out, there was some sort of confrontation. Needless to say, I didn't stick around to find out what happened. I figured it would make the news because I saw someone take a gun out of the front of his pants The men decided to leave and of course, Metro was there when I left.... Does anyone know any details? I'm so glad that I didn't have my kids with me and I definitely won't be going back there anytime soon...
