My son and his fiance went to their local courthouse & were married today as they were planning on getting married in Vegas at one of the small chapels. Their flight actually leaves tomorrow. She wanted to rent a dress and his tux primarily for the pictures and said she would even forego the exchange of vows if there was such an option. She said they could not find anything reasonably priced on the internet and I did not ask what their budget was. Knowing that I'm sure the budget is small, does anyone have any suggestions? Thank you.

I have noticed a tux/gown rental place on Sahara and Paradise, right next to the strip near the Sahara casino. No idea what their rates are, but that might be an option.

Something old, something new.
Something rented, something blue.

How charming. Personally, I don't get the second fake LV wedding, or the renewing of vows in the same week as the original wedding. Either you get married in Las Vegas (I did)...or you don't.

I am truly not trying to be rude ... just an idea to save money. If its really a fake wedding, why not a fake city?

I bet if you google rental places in Las Vegas, call and ask for rates, then call locally for rates ... the local rates are probably cheaper.

So, less expensive local pictures of a fake wedding in a fake city might be the way to go.

Surely they don't think anyone, like a casino, is gonna give them anything as they walk around in their costumes? I guess I am with jfkIII. I don't get it.

I was searching for an inexpensive yet beautiful place to have a wedding for some clients. They wanted 80 guests but their budget for the venue (ceremony & reception) was only about $6,000. I found out that the Elks Lodge located at 4100 Charleston was only $50 per person and you don't have to be a member of the Elks Club to use it!

There's a place next to Firefly and Ruth Chris' Steakhouse on Paradise that rents gowns and tuxes, but my friend was shopping on David's Bridal and you buy them for like $200.00 - $400.00. Why pay for added insurance in case it gets dirty, which it probably will if there's a long train, red wine, and food involved, when you can just buy it and not have the added worry?

What about that place with the commercials from the guy with the deep raspy voice that says "You're gonna love the way you look, I guarantee it".
