Yep. Remember when there weren't any pedestrian bridges, and no center dividers down the middle of the strip? What mess. People used to just run back and forth across Las Vegas Blvd., everywhere. It's a wonder more people weren't killed back then.

Amen! As someone who has been going to Las Vegas for years I can tell you that it was very dangerous crossing LV Blvd before the pedestrian bridges.

So you know that obnoxious person who's always asking stupid questions at lectures? Oops, that was me just now asking about moderators. But thanks Pink & MMOB for the info-guess I'll have to use the search feature more often.

This is a bit of a non-sequitur, but if you get a chance you must visit the "Looking for Karaoke" thread. We now know our #1 item on our Must Do List for next Las Vegas visit.

For the sake of my increasingly lazy ferret, how about some bridges without escalators or elevators?

That spoiled creature won't climb the stairs anymore, he takes one look at those stairs, then wanders to the right, and hops on the escalator, or he'll head to the elevator doors, try to pull the doors open with his paws, for a ride!

It's sickening! He won't even climb the stairs in my house anymore, he's waiting, waiting for me to install an escalator or elevator!

And I thought my cats were spoiled. Not by a long shot.

They seem to me to be alternate screen names for people already here that dont have the cajones to admit it....

How else can one account for a brand new account with one post [am asinine one] and a rep in the 20's.

I would guess that MOST of tho posts all belone to one very bored person.

So I guess my slot machine winning rate is $12,000/hr.

Not unless you would call heading down to Henderson a side trip, lol.

My wife and I are going to GVR tonight to see Heart perform in concert. One of our first dates when we were in college in the mid-1970s was going to a Heart concert on campus. Maybe because of that they've always been one of our favorite groups. Nancy Wilson was one of the first great female rock guitarists. Here is a video of them performing on tv in 1976, around the time when we first saw them perform.

That's a good wage!!!

How old is he? Maybe he has arthritis.
