Besides going thru a real estate agent ( they grab all the bargains for themselves) or paying for the service like Realtytrac...can I get the list from the banks? If so, what is the largest lender in LV that would have the most inventory?

Thanks!

Most lenders have websites with their REO listings. They do not have shorts on their though. Google Wells Fargo REO and Countrywide REO and you should come up with the links.

As an aside, the majority of our REO closings have been bought by owner occupants so your analysis of real estate agents buying up the good deals is a bit off base.

when you search MLS listings, most are short sales and Bank Owned. You could try that.

You can always try contacting the banks directly. You can get a list of banks here:List REO's for Banks - REO Leads System Reviews

Be careful though. You don't want to **** off the asset managers. I'd start by emailing them rather than calling them. If they respond favorably, you can ask for permission to call them
