Just when I thought my house value was low already, I just found out that I have 12 houses on my block currently being forclosed. This is going to frak the value of my home to even lower levels..

i feel your pain. there are are 26 homes on my street, 12 foreclosed, 10 in default, 3 appear to still be paying, and then me. I'm joining the party next month as I am now about 300K upside down.

Don't appear to be any 12s in the NW. Biggest are two sevens.

Be glad to check the street if you wish to send me a DM.

It`s getting more n`more worse rather than better, the ride downhill is`nt gonna end, like many think, very soon at all.
Just good that it`s a warm climate in the LV area n`lots of space to camp out in.

It`s always healthy to have an optimistic attitude in life. Reality however can change that very fast.

The good old Consumer days have changed drastically, the rest of the World is gradually but steadily turning away from America, the trust has gone in an economy of pump n`deficit.

yep I have a house in northwest las vegas and unfortunately had to move because of a job transfer. Current value is 100k, purchase price in 2006 was 306k, renting it out at a loss of 15-17k a year so not sure how much longer I can continue.

Think of it like this, 12 new neighbors!
When you get some they wont be investors looking to make a quick buck either. And if you were planning on staying you will be the king of the neighborhood. You can watch the changes all around you.
The new people buying in my neighborhood seem so much better than the people who have left. But who knows?
