As HR told me one time.....our lab can find hair in places that shouldn't have hair.

It probably depends on what lab the Hotel uses. I have to submit to a bi-annual drug test for GCB regulations due to my position. GCB uses Quest labs and I have to do a urine test. HR personal gets the honors of putting on gloves and sending the sample to the lab.

I think that we only do urine once you're on board and then only for positions like yours....if there's an accident, then testing is required and that MAY be either urine or hair...depending on the severity....

Seriously, if you dabble in drugs it just makes you look like a jerk to even apply. It doesn't matter how well you impress in the interviews. If that test comes back positive you look foolish and you wasted the time of the people who interviewed you.

What a bunch lemmings you people are. As if drug tests results mean anything. Plenty of ways to get around them, plenty of other habits one can have that will impact work performance far more severely and aren't tested for.

More proof of lemminghood - you can't even dispute my point. "If you say so" -- brilliant repartee.

Here some food for thought - would you rather have a lifeguard that tokes up on his weekends off, or one who drinks to excess the night before and comes into work with a hang-over?

Or how about this - would you rather have a lifeguard who does a line or two coke when he goes out clubbing or a lifeguard with a case of oral gonorrhea?

I would rather have a lifeguard who doesn't do anything that could interfere with his or her abilitly to save someone's life.
