I've listen to 2 stations LV has that stream online. One is 98.5 KLUC, and the other is 104.3 Now FM, both are Top 40 Hits radio stations.

104.3 plays hardly any commercials and is less superficial then KLUC, but KLUC has Chet Buchanan and the Morning Zoo, Spence's Celebrity Phone scams are hilarious, along with the Old School Lunch Hour which is awesome, all their DJ's are funny too

Are there any other good music stations in LV that stream online? Particularly one that is more "retro" like music from the 80s? I love the Top 40 Hits but I like 80s tunes too, along with classic rock

Truth be told I like most kinds of music except for heavy metal, and country music

Any other good stations streaming online I might enjoy?

Hey Davie, if these people were really your friends, they would set up a Slingbox for you so that you could watch Las Vegas TV stations in Florida over the Internet and watch our local news.

::107.9 THE ALTERNATIVE::

This is our alternative station. You are better off streaming it anyway because the signal is very hit and miss throughout the valley. The music is 80s - current alternative format.

Commercial radio has become really homogenized (too much for my taste). If you hear the format where you are, you will hear it here too.

Our college radio station, KUNV, used to be a bright spot in the world of radio and ranked among the top college radio stations in the country. The radio station eventually adopted a jazz format and canned their more edgy programming, like the Rock Avenue. Regardless, there are still some groundbreaking shows. You can stream it live at KUNV -- Welcome and here is a link to their programming schedule. Check out neon reverb and future sound. http://kunv.unlv.edu/ProgramSchedule.pdf

For classic rock, I find The Point (97.1 FM) to be the best in Vegas. They do lots of remotes and giveaways.

NP man. Basing on what I have heard on 98.5 and 104.3 your radio stations are way better then the ones in Orlando I have been listening to for so many years

Sorry there was an 80s station around a few years ago, but it went under. Now you almost never hear 80s music. I think though if you have HD Radio one of the secondary channels is an 80s/90s station if I remember right. Anyways better just to look elsewhere, plenty of streaming choices and Yahoo stations who are a better fit.
