Hello,

I wonder if someone can answer my questions. I got selected for the DV2015. I have dual Citizenships Jordan/Canada, but I was born in Kuwait. So, I applied for the DV2015 chargeable to Kuwait.

I'm thinking now maybe I should have applied as a Jordanian instead, but I remember I read that the Country of Changeability is the Country of Birth. Will I get disqualified? If not, which Passport I can use for the interview? Canadian or Jordanian?

Many thanks for answering my questions.

As far as I am aware, so long as you disclose your dual citizenship, it does not matter.

But I couldn't answer for the consular officer who interviews you. I would half hazard a guess to say that they would prefer which ever country is your original country of nationality as opposed to after acquired citizenship.

But I don't believe there is any requirement for either so long as both are disclosed. Anything else is an uniformed guess on my part.

You are right. MMWV from a Consular to another. People try their luck for years to get chosen as a Selectee. I got select on the 1st try. Let's see if my Dream will come True.

Thanks All.
