Is there a specific date for EB1 visa applications?
I am asking this because at some times most jobs on the market turn out to be fake, they are created to justify an internal employee's GC application. So there are lots of fake jobs on the market, that are directly related to E1B and similar visas.
So I want to know what months I should ignore job advertisements. Whenever the Indian and Chinese H1B and E1B, E2Bs are filed.
You must be confused. The EB-1 category is reserved for extraordinary skill, outstanding professor or researchers, or multinational executives and managers. Companies do not need to recruit like they do on EB3 or EB2, since the EB-1 category concedes a national interest waiver.
Only EB3 and EB2 require the recruitment phase. There are no set dates.
Rule of thumb: avoid the paper announcements, go to companies' websites and LinkedIn, they won't bother posting the internal positions they have filled with prospective green card candidates there, they will stick with what the USCIS requires (basically, local newspapers), not an inch more.

That's useful, thanks.

I ran into many fake jobs on big company websites. Rumors are saying these are all internal H1B employees, applying for a green card, or the directors cousin or something.
