What careers get you into america? Meteorology? I could do an IT degree but I don't enjoy it.

Mostly IT. Another option is a transfer within the company for those who works for an American company at their home country. It can be any specialty in this case but people in the top management positions usually get better chances.

To find an employer who will sponsor you for a visa you can be in any field as long as your expertise in that field is needed by a US corporation and there are no US citizens sufficiently qualified to fill the vacancies.

STEM (science, technology, engineering, math).
Employer H1Bs mostly seem to go to IT.
Another option is to get an advanced degree here on student visa, then get a job. Not easy but choice of fields is wider.

Its like £60,000 to go there for uni not worth it.

Get a scholarship. There are so many good schools in US and tons of international students in them.

None. And all of them. Bluntly put, no career gives you certainty. I have heard of one person doing field hockey coaching and getting into the USA.
