Im moving to PA from NJ in a month. I have a decent mechanic in nj and Im looking for a good one in PA that does good work. Can anyone give me a suggestion?

Mya87, I think people are hesitant about responding because it depends on where you are moving in the Lehigh Valley. We use a couple of different places but I'm in the southern part of the county and if you are moving to Easton or the northwestern area, it wouldn't make sense to suggest somebody down here. We use one place for our VW and another for our American cars, but neither are convenient for someone outside of my area.

Im moving to the Macungie area. From where I will be moving to it will take me and hour to get to the mechanic that I have in Nj. Im moving to Macungie December 1st so Im trying to find one now instead of the last minute. Thanks

I've used MPI Diagnostics on Chestnut St. in Emmaus in the past. Not the cheapest mechanic around, but they seemed to do good work and they usually give you a price up front.

check out A-Team auto, on MacArthur rd/7th street, just outside Whitehall, and across from the old LV Dairy. Jordan park is behind them. Ken is the man there, has been my mechanic for years and is top notch, very good, and most importantly HONEST!
