The 5th annual "Haunted Walking" Tour of Easton will be Oct. 24th & 25th from 8pm-9pm. If anyone is interested, meet at the Centre Square at 8pm. This is a rain or shine event. The tour goes through the "labyrinth" streets of Easton and deals with history and legends of the city. I will be there in full costume and am dragging my husband, too. I am sure he is not happy about it, but he will be in costume, too. It sounds like a lot of fun! And, yes, we are buying a house in downtown Easton!

Default Halloween in the Valley

Anyone looking for a semi-spooky Halloween hayride should come down to Upper Saucon Park on Preston Lane in Center Valley on October 24th and 25th at 7 pm. The hayride is sponsored by the local Kiwanis club and the spooky part is done by the HS key club. There is a charge. Snacks are sold and a good time will be had by all!

I found this link on the morning call website about other Halloween happenings.
Halloween Guide | Metromix Lehigh Valley The last listing on this site mentions Dorney Park, but I'll give it a special link here, because I know my kids have always liked it: Dorney Park & Wildwater Kingdom - PA Amusement Park & Waterpark, over 100 rides and attractions

Anyone else have some spooky happenings?

I'll bet it would be a great time, especially in that part of Pennsylvania; it's beautiful there.

It's Halloween parade time! Coopersburg had it's parade on Sunday. My apologies for not giving a head's up.

This Saturday (October 18th) is the Emmaus parade at 7:30 pm. I've attended this parade for several years and it's always a good one! The Borough of Emmaus Pennsylvania Official Web Site - News Macungie's is the following Saturday at 7:30 (October 25th) another great one! I've never been to Allentown's but it's 2pm on Sunday the 26th. Make sure you take a bag for candy being thrown!

I couldn't find that post so looked it up again. I think I had originally just tagged this info onto someone else's post about safe trick or treating. Perhaps the original poster can re-post that info here.

SAFE TRICK OR TREAT
Friday, October 31, 2008
This year's Safe Trick or Treat takes place from 6-8pm, and all stores participating will be marked with Lehigh Valley Mall & B104 balloons. The Lehigh Valley Mall Teen Board members will be handing out Halloween goodie bags for kids to collect their ghoulish treats, so be sure to look for a Teen Board representative at each main entrance into the mall beginning at 6pm
