I'm thinking of purchasing a twin at the Vistas at Green Hills. Does anyone know anything about the quality of the homes, the community, accessability to schools, stores, etc? Thanks!

Good location in my opinion, quiet and a little of the beaten path, but close enough to conveniences and major routes. Close enough to schools for the most part, Parkland District.....excellent.

The builder does not construct the entire exterior framing with 2x6 studs, many don't these days and that is a shame. You get a more solid home and better insulation with 2x6. There are not many builders, (especially these days) that are building at the level of quality that they should. Some are cutting too many corners because of the change in the market. You will see a difference in the quality of a private builder that builds a house on a piece of land as opposed to a builder that builds 100's of houses on land that was once a corn field.

In my opinion, I would say it's one of the better choices when it comes to towns and twins. Better off at Vista's than Coldwater, which is the same Builder, but a whole different feel to the neighborhood. Not that Coldwater is bad, it's just much bigger and more diverse house wise, and in my opinion, too many variations in pricing of homes to be under the same Development name and to share one Clubhouse.

Good luck, it does seem pretty peaceful there in all the times I have been there just driving about, and I also have been in all the models and some that were under construction to check them out.
