What are some nice areas to shop in Lehigh Valley? How is Lehigh Valley Mall?

I like the Lehigh Valley Mall for the most part. It's like any other large mall in middle America; anchor stores of Macy's and JC Penney and the other popular chains- Foot Locker, Bath & Body, etc.

Yes & the Promenade. There are strip malls everywhere (Target, Wal-Mart, Costco...) that have some nicer, smaller boutique type stores. You can also drive to Bridgewater, NJ (about 40 min from the PA border) for a nicer indoor mall (there isn't any closer in NJ).

I am perfectly comfortable going to the Lehigh Valley Mall as are most people but its worth noting there is some history of some crime there. I haven't been to the Promenade or that mall at the casino since before COVID but they both had some nicer high end stores. Though I did read COVID really did a number on both places.

I did google the mall and came up with a few shootings, which is why I asked.

What is the mall at the casino?

https://www.thepromenadeshopsatsauconvalley.com/ I haven't been to the LV mall for awhile, but probably would if I lived closer. Because of my location in Southern Lehigh county, I go to the Promenade shops or down to Kohls in Quakertown or take a trip to Costco out in Trexlertown.

In an era where indoor Malls are not as popular as they once were, The LVM is still doing well. You can shop and go to Dunderbacks and drink some good German beer. Plus there is a brewpub outside.

On that note, its mysterious to me why the South Mall has always struggled so much. For a long time, it was one of the few shopping areas easily accessible from growing western Lehigh. It was dead even when malls were popular. Same for Trexlertown Mall.

Agree, LV Mall and Bridgewater are both nice places.
