Has anyone moved from another state recently? I am just trying to get an idea of the moving expenses..

I moved from Phillipsburg to Nazareth. A very short distance but the best move I've ever made. Cost of move will certainly vary depending upoin lots of factors. We have been in the Lehigh Valley for 2 years and my teens and I feel like we are in paradise.

Mayflower has always given us a good price, and they never added costs on in the end. ( so many horror stories on that!)
North Jersey to the Poconos was about 2300 and that was a four bedroom home, with tons of tools and other woodworking machines. It took one extra small truck also.
So nice to have the house moved out by someone and not myself....
