Dears,
We are an Italian family with two children (4 and 22 months old) coming from Italy for businees issues. We would appreciate a lot some suggestions concerning some very good areas to live for families with young children especially not too far from the Bath - Nazareth area where I have to work (let's say 20 min by car not more) with highly rated private schools and good child care as well as play grounds and supermarkets. We don't know anything about the area and we are looking for a 3-4 bedroom townhome or detached house to rent for $2000 a month. Any help would be helpful.
Thanks a lot.

When are you moving? September - October 2009
Where are you coming from? Italy
Why are you moving? I (husband) got a Job for several years in the area.
Where will you be working? Bath - Nazareth area
Have you been here yet? Just for a couple of days
Will you buy or rent? Rent (Better if unfurnished) - 2000 $/m
If buying, are you looking for a house or a condo? How much can you spend?
If renting, are you looking for an apartment, a townhouse or loft? Townhouse or detached house
How much can you spend? 2000$/m
Do you prefer hi-rise or walk up? walk up
Are you married or single? Do you have children? Married with two children (4 and 22 months old)
Do you prefer public or private schools? Private
Do you have pets? No
Do you want or need a yard? Yes
Are you keeping a car? Yes, 2 cars
Do you prefer bustling activity or calm and quiet? Close to a city but with green areas and play grounds, schools, markets,
What do you want to be closest to? Work, Basic services (supermarket, drugstore, etc.), High rated private schools, Good child/day care.
Do you want to live with people of a similar age, race, religion or sexual preference or do you prefer a diverse neighborhood? Live in a neighborhood with families that have other young children

There are a lot of places the fit your requirements in the area. I'd suggest Nazareth for a more urban setting, or upper/lower Nazareth townships if you want a bigger yard.

Bethlehem Township. They have a great community center, which will be useful with your little ones. Lots of families in the area.

I'm sorry, not intentionally withholding information, but we never looked up in that area of Lehigh County. I don't think there are any private schools in Bath or Nazareth, but the two best ones closest to that area are Swain The Swain School, Private school, independent school, private education, private middle school, private elementary school and Moravian Academy - Moravian Academy Excellent private schools.
