Hi all,

I am looking to purchase some tickets for the Daughtry concert and was hoping for some advice on which areas of seating are good and which areas to avoid. A few of the questions I had:

1. Is the seating under cover in the rear like stadium seating? (I am assuming it is since it's called Grandstand?) How about the track portion closer to the stage? I ask because we are short, so standing at the track level or sitting on level ground is less than ideal for us.

2. Seat numbers. When looking at the seating chart with the stage on the bottom, do seat numbers increase from left to right?

3. Row number VS Section numbers. Should I look for tickets closer to the center of the stage (section-wise), or tickets that are close as possible to the stage (row-wise). Hopefully this makes sense.

Sorry for the weird questions. I am kind of a nut when it comes to seats for everything (i.e. plane tickets, concert and sporting event tickets)>

Thanks for the help though!

hmmm. Sounds like it means loser. Music is soooo subjective.

I personally like Daughtry but don't know anything about the seating at the fairgrounds.

Alright, dang it! If you are really set on seeing this "musician" I'll give you my opinion. If you are not center on the track within 5 rows it is not worth it to be down there. It is not covered. There are 8 sections across and ideally you would want to be in sections C through F. The grandstand has 22 sections with 27 rows. 7 through 14 would probably be the best spots. I do not know how many seats across there are and which way they run, but my eduacted guess tells me there may only be around 8 seats in each row. I do this for a living. I sell seats on the secondary market above the face value of the ticket. I encourage you to try conventional means first through the box office, but if you can't find the specific sections you are looking for I am available to serve you. I do not think Im allowed to offer a link on here but you can pm me and I will give you contact infomation.

LOL, it's not that I exactly think he is a great musician. My wife loved him on idol, so she's been a fan ever since even though his songs sound the same after a while.

Your information is very useful, thank you. I was leaning toward the grandstand since I feel the stadium seating would making viewing easier. I've been checking ebay and stubhub but I am cheap. I don't even want to pay face value, lol.

I'll send you a PM right after this if I can figure out how to do it.

Default Allentown Fairground Grandstand Seating

Does anyone know if section E, 6th row is good seating at the Allentown Fairgrounds Grandstand?

I'd comment since I originally started this thread, but I ended up not going to the concert so I have no idea.

I won't know until Sept when my family goes to the Kelly Clarkson concert, lol.
