Cajun food: Gumbo Ya Ya (South Broadway & Virginia Ave or Downtown on Main Street). Louisiana quality cajun food! There meat (chicken or crawfish for me) is always well cooked, I can't stand undercooked, mushy meat. Drink + small plate is only $6.75

I wish they had stayed in Tates Creek Centre. I've heard Bar Lexington isn't doing all that well, which isn't surprising, so any restaurant they have in there is probably going to hurt for business.

I'm sure the lease is entirely too high and they're not going to get much traffic in there because of the location. It's also way easier to get to the South Broadway restaurant.

I'd really like to hear what everyone's favorite local seafood restaurant is...??? (Please, no Long John Silvers or Captain D's).

Seafood restaurants are one of my disappointments in Lexington. If I'm not mistaken, there are four main choices - Red Lobster, Bonefish Grill, Regatta, and the Ketch. Red Lobster and Bonefish are ok for a chain. Regatta has a nice atmosphere but I'm often disappointed by the food especially considering the price. The Ketch is ok for fried fish and such, but I've found their fresh fish selections more lacking.

Agreed 100%. After moving here from CT, I realized none of the seafood around here was worth it. I just eat it when i travel back home.

How about indian restaurants? I went to Tandoor on friday night and it was amazingly good. Bombay used to be good, but I have heard it switched owners and is not as good anymore.
