Since moving to Lexington KY. From Milwaukee wi, I have noticed turn must be an option in vehicles because it seems that 2/3's of drivers don't use them. Also traffic is really bad for a small town...there definitely should've been some long term planning put into place years ago for this.

They figure you should already know what they are going to do...

As for the traffic problems in lexington, and louisville for that matter, that's what happens when you just throw money at the "want's" of the voters instead of making long term plans for the "needs" of the voters. louisville is actually a better example though, take a look at a jefferson county/city map. Major highways going everywhere and going nowhere. Meanwhile back in the rest of the state it's business as usual, nothing happening.

I apologize.

Lexington is a lot denser than most American cities because of the urban growth boundary that protects the surrounding horse farms. But still a city where 95% drive to get where they're going. It also lacks a freeway that goes downtown, something bad for traffic but that keeps inner neighborhoods from declining as fast. Another issue is Lexington spends most highway funds on things other than widening roads, things like street lighting, sidewalks, even lighted street signs.
I think Lexington drivers aren't horrible, sometimes you get people from rural areas there who aren't used to driving on complicated urban streets
