That street in Hamburg with pedestrian only access....I have never seen that before in Lexington. Are there any other pedestrian only streets in Lex? I still say hamburg is a very bland, poorly planned area.

The townhouses in censusdata's pics are of Hamburg Park Townhomes. They're really nice and range in price from the 200's to 300's. The 3 story apartments are Hamburg Farms, just down the road from Hamburg Park Townhomes and Hamburg Pavilion shopping center.

Default Claiborne Farm visit 1991

Easy Goer
20 starts (14-5-1)
$4,873,770

Forty Niner
19 starts (11-5-0)
$2,726,000

Mr Prospector
14 starts (7-4-2)
$112,171
By 1998, Mr Prospector had sired 1,014 foals and 162 stakes winners. Both figures were tops among North American stallions. Mr Prospector died in 1999 at the age of 29 and had completed his 1999 breeding schedule, covering 47 mares. As of early May, 31 of those mares were in foal.

I'm pretty sure I've identified these magnificent horses accurately but acknowledge that my notes at the time may have been misinterpreted later. I have additional photos of others if anyone would like me to post more.

Hamburg is like most of Lexington - it's High Density Sprawl. It may be totally car dependent but at least it does eat up less farmland

awesome pic....I have never seen a candid of Easy Goer on the farm. All I ever got to see of him at Claiborne was his grave. Saw him when I was a wee girl at Saratoga in the Travers. RIP big guy, gone too soon.
