My Mom, Rowena Green, has stage IV cancer. For 25 years she taught French and German at various schools here in Lexington, including UK, Sayre, LTMS, and Leestown Middle. I wanted to put together something that I could give her for what will almost certainly be her last Mother’s Day.

If you were a student of my Mom’s, or worked with her, or even knew her from Church or her time in Lexington Singers, it would mean so much to our family if you could take a little bit of time to write something down for us. It could be anything from an anecdote to even just some kind words.

Feel free to PM me or make a comment here. I'll be reaching out to other local forums and Facebook pages as well. For Mother's Day I'll gather up everything and print it out for her.

I want her to know that she mattered, and still matters, to a lot of people. That she made a difference.

Thank you.
