Todays A D-G states that after 145 years Bennett's Military Supplies is closing
. I haven't been there for a few years because of the traffic and parking problems but back in "the day" that was the place to go, not only to buy but a great "window shopping" trip. If we needed more uniforms and patches than were issued we would get them at Bennett's. And it was the real stuff, not knock-offs from Japan. That was before knock-offs came from China. When our uniform style changed it would take a while for our supply room to get what they needed, but it seemed Bennett could always bail us out.

. I haven't been there for a few years because of the traffic and parking problems but back in "the day" that was the place to go, not only to buy but a great "window shopping" trip. If we needed more uniforms and patches than were issued we would get them at Bennett's. And it was the real stuff, not knock-offs from Japan. That was before knock-offs came from China. When our uniform style changed it would take a while for our supply room to get what they needed, but it seemed Bennett could always bail us out.
