Same line up we had for mayor 4 years ago and usual suspects in local council race. I feel underwhelmed.

Ken Livingstone only has himself to blame for being behind in the polls, his Anti-Semtic Coments and Anti-Gay Comments have upset a lot of people. Including Labour supporters such as Alan Sugar.

I think Ken would have had a much better chance if he just kept hs trap shut.

As for Boris, nice enough guy, and don't really see a massive problem with him continuing as Mayor.

Livingstone has had enough chances and I've had enough of the egomaniac. Boris is doing a good enough job, but voted for independent Siobhan Benita.

Besides Boris's bikes wonder what he has done for London? Sounds to me he is pretty much in league with the bankers and top end of town.

Anyone name what he's done to help ordinary Londoners? Housing or rents or jobs etc??

I would rather have Boris and the Bankers than Ken Livingstone cosying up to third world dictators and making London in his words 'a beacon og islam'.

Ken Livingstone: I will make London a beacon of Islam – Telegraph Blogs

The London Mayor doesn't have a great deal of powers, the main responcibilities being in relation to overseeing some plannng, the emergency services and transport. Although all these areas are often in need of Government and Private Sector investment, particuarly transport.

I don't see what anyone could do within this limited remit, as for Livingstone even given this small remit he can't stop attacking groups such as the jewish community and gays.
