I joined this forum as I searched for prople who started careers over 30. I just finished my 3 years German apprenticeship as an IT-Management Assistant. The thing is my skin color play such a big role I am not getting a job and it scared me terribly, makes me depress too.
So I would appreciate some advice please, as I plan to move to London because of the multicultural aspect. Do you think a "woman" over 30 have a chance for a Technician/Support job in the IT-branch?
Does skin color really matters and what are your opinion about getting any job in London for starters?
As I am willing to do any job (not prostution
) as I will be starting my life over.
I do have some profitable hobbies such as designing simple websites using HTML/CSS or webshops using wordpress also I paint abstract paintings.
What are you opinion on selling my skills and art for a little pocket money? Will art galleries let me volunteer although I am colored?
I can speak German, English, a little Spanish and French but writing perfect grammar is always a problem.
