Hi,

Does anyone know of a soccer program for 4-year-olds in or near Roslyn?
(Manhasset, Great Neck, Greenvale, Glen Head are all okay too. Ideally during the day on Fridays, if available...)

Our son loved it at camp so we thought it would be a good time to get him started. Looked into the popular kiddie soccer groups (Soccer Tots, ProSoccer Kids, Super Soccer Stars, etc.), but nothing's that close to us. With so many little kids in this area, we figured there must be something available. We're moving there soon but we're not there yet so we don't know anyone yet.

Thanks!

Beware of these soccer leagues. Before you know it, the kid will have games at 0700 on Sunday's, Holidays, & evenings. Soccer becomes their life, and the family's as well. Strangely enough, parents on LI do not protest the bizarre times and days of games.

check out your local school district. If they are like Longwood they have a division for that age group.

I know... I'm dreading it already!! Soon enough it'll probably be unavoidable, but just for this year, we're still hoping to keep his activities on weekdays only. Gotta preserve a bit of that ever precious family time!

Thanks, I've googled & checked many of these already, and they didn't work... That's why I posted this question! Most are a bit far from us -- Bethpage, Hempstead, East Meadow, Huntington, etc. We have a scheduling conflict w/ the closest one in East Hills. Several are in evenings or on weekends, which I'd like to avoid... if possible...

Noga? Thanks. I haven't heard of that one before. Just checked their website... Looks like camps? They do start at age 4. Maybe the Spring Break mini-camp will be fun! Does anyone know if they offer soccer classes or programs now, during the school year? (It's not clear to me from the website.) Thanks!
