I did read the entire thread but just want to say they are everywhere now. Bethpage, Plainview, Levittown, some other towns I don't remember, etc... every so often I will see a "flash" at night. Don't run yellow light and don't turn where it says no turn on right.

ALSO, make sure you have your seat belt on and use hand free phone. I'm not kidding, I got "slowed down and examed" twice in one week while entering a highway ramp.

Bellmore is middle class....the majority are in middle class south shore Catholic neighborhoods.

Bellmore is mostly middle class, though does have some upper middle class areas. Also Bellmore does have a fairly large Jewish population as well.

Regardless, this is not some conspiracy to put them only in certain neighborhoods. They tend to be intersections which have high accident rates that are under Nassau County's jurisdiction, meaning not in an incorporated village. The north shore tends to have more incorporated villages than the south shore. There is no conspiracy here....

I never said it was, perhaps it doesn't have intersections with the accident rates some of the other intersections have.

NO CONSPIRACY.

Nonsense its all about revenue and bilking the middle class. Red light cameras are kept out of the same north shore neighborhoods that block cell phone towers and tunnels to Connecticut. Its money, power, and political influence.
