Blue Spruce on property (house, purchasing, move)

Hi. I have a 25 ft Blue Spruce that we want removed. It was planted prior to us purchasing the house and was set in a very poor location. We would love for someone to come and take the tree for replanting if at all possible. Anyone know of any organizations or nurseries that might be interested? I have called a few local nurseries and have not heard back.

It would probably be a very costly endeavor (imagine the size of the root ball and machinery needed to remove it) with the likelihood that the tree won't survive making it too risky to invest in. That's probably why you haven't heard back. Who knows? They might field calls like this more often than we know.

Where on Long Island are you? Might have someone but it depends on location. Also, is the tree healthy as far as you can determine?
