This is strange issue, and the first time I’ve experienced this. My wife and I moved into our home in Melville approximately 7 months ago. Recently the water pressure has gone from acceptable to near non-existent.

I have no idea why, it’s been really bad this weekend. Can any one suggest any reason or solution to my dilemma?

I’ve checked for water leak within the home, and nothing seems wrong. Can someone tell me if the water company is responsible to repair any broken pipes or valves that may lead up to the water meter?

Thanks in advance!

DaSyce, you didn't mention if your immediate neighbors are experiencing the same lack of water pressure. Are they?

Have you checked with your water district/water company?

You won't be happy to hear that usually you're responsible for the water line from the street to your house. But WG makes a good suggestion - have you checked with your neighbors?

Spoke to the neighbors, they aren't experiencing any issues. Gave South Huntington Water District a call, was told that someone would come take a look.

I guess I'll see where that gets me.
