Yes. Hand rolled, boiled and baked. It's a shame there will generations that won't know what a real bagel tastes like.
Sounds like the merchant passed his Visa transaction cost on to you. If so he's probably in violation of the terms of agreement between the merchant and Visa/Mastercard that to charge a customer to use a credit card. The merchant can give a cash discount but cannot pass the transaction cost on to you.
The right thing to do is to contact Visa
