I always check Lowes first. Nicer than what Home Depot carries but cheaper than the tile stores

Used Alita Tile in Bohemia. Not the cheapest but quality tile, well stocked and knowledgeable.

Check Home Depot or Lowes. I've done three different rooms with porcelain tile from both stores. Got everything at clearance prices $1 to $1.50 sq.ft.

Being a high traffic area and that things can fall (pots, glasses, etc) be sure to get something thick which will stand up better than thinner, sometimes 'bargain' tile. Last thing you want is to be replacing tiles further down the road.
