If you're referring to the area that has a "Westbury, NY 11590" mailing address that is near the Roosevelt Field Mall, that would be East Garden City.

East Garden City is one of those many villages and hamlets on Long Island where none of the places in the community have the community name as part of their mailing address: places in the Hamlet of East Garden City have a "Garden City, NY 11530", "Westbury, NY 11590", "East Meadow, NY 11554", "Uniondale, NY 11553" and "Hempstead, NY 11550" mailing address.

East Garden City is in the not so well respected Uniondale Union Free School District.

The Malverne school district is diverse but the village itself is not. I wonder why that is?

Default What a Moron

THIS from Checkmate:

#1 "New Hyde Park, Herricks, and Searingtown have a lot of Asians (the ethnic composition is about 50% White and 30-40% Asian), so that has some diversity"

#2 "Oyster Bay's racial composition is about 76% Whites and 17% Hispanics, which gives it a little bit of diversity, but not a whole lot"

#3 "Roosevelt, Uniondale, and Hempstead are mized between Blacks and Hispanics, but there are very few area with a lot of White people, so I don't think you could call them diverse"

So apparently, in CheckMate's view, an area is diverse as long as there are whites; Whites/Asians and Whites/Hispanics are "diverse". But when there are two minority groups (Blacks and Hispanics) it's not so diverse. What he REALLY wants to write is, "don't move there, there's a bunch of $(&)&) and ;&&&( in that area, but that wouldn't be polite.

Don't forget your hood and burning cross tonight Checkmate. What a tool.
