Guys, I need to move the gravel from my yard and use it somewhere else, like supplementing my driveway in the front etc. The gravel area is currently about 30 ft by 60 ft and about 2 inch deep.

Whats the best way to get it done ? I have my friends wheelbarrow to haul it, but how to get everything on one side first ? I was thinking of renting a tomcat/bobcat whatever its called for this (cost = $200 - 300 ??? I have no idea.)

Please give me your suggestions how I can go about this. Any local contacts ?

Renting a skidsteer (bobcat) will cost approximately $300. Why not borrow a couple more wheelbarrow's and iron rakes, buy some pizzas and beer and have a day of it with a few friends? If you have never operated a skidsteeer before, scraping gravel without taking a lot of dirt with it could be challenging. By your measurements, you have a little more that 11 cubic yards of gravel. Three full wheelbarrows should equal a yard, so 33 trips is not that much.
