Hi All,


Me and my hubby are planning to have the second baby next year, so we will need a bigger place to live. We, and our family members are all have been living in apts in Whitestone Queens ever since thus having no ideas about utilities cost, especially in Nassau county, and then the housing cost, living expenses there either.


Mineola and Franklin Square areas are the location we are looking at, can someone give me a general idea about the cost of living in those neighborhood? including property tax (I don't really trust the tax amount listed on redfin), utilities, child care, etc.
House price $600K;
2 kids;
no need to take train, we both drive to work.

This is the only place to get a real taxes. If you see enhanced star, veteran,cold war, low income senior etc you will not get these reductions.

It's impossible to give you utilites cost to many variables assume $300 for gas/oil and electric to be safe although it should be less.
